Car description |
---|
For your consideration is a 1961 Renault Caravelle. The Caravelle was born out of a desire by Renault to compete with the highly successful Volkswagen Beetle in the United States. The result of those efforts was the smartly styled Caravelle. The rear engine, four seat car set itself apart from the competition.
This example is finished in a 60's era aqua marine blue with a complementing darker blue interior. The car was been fitted with a new convertible top, for those days when the sun isn't shining.
Mechanically the car runs very well and starts right up even after sitting for a few weeks. Both the brakes and engine were recently serviced.
These are rare cars in the States and the value is starting to increase due to their rarity and benefit of being a four seat convertible. This particular car is being fairly priced at $13,500.
Please look closely at the pictures and don't hesitate to ask any questions.
