Renault R 17

I have for sale a survivor of the rust years...this Renault R 17 is exceptional good for those years, rust areas are the trunk,the closest areas to the tunnel front and rear and starting at the lower front wheel arches.The paint seems original as the faded decor strip still shows the Gordini script.Body is straight except for 2 small dents in the lower front fenders -left and right...The sunroof is in place covered for the US by the fiberglass hard top.The huge bumpers were also US specific and Europe had none..The rear passenger window doesn't stay up,but I am sure through restoration there will be a few more non ops discovered...The engine was stored without the head on and is seized, spare block and a spare head comes with it, as well as the fuel injection and a Weber 45 manifold.Car seems like 96% complete.I sell the car without title just Bill of sale as the car originates from Alabama and they didn't had titles yet in those years-at least to my knowledge.Have more pictures and for questions call 702 353 7175.The R 17 where used as rallye cars throughout Europe.Very few made it to the US and survived...This example is too nice to go to the scrap yard and needs a loving Renault enthusiast.
