Car description

This is a 1978 Renault R5. I was got this car in a trade and have since fallen in love with it but I can not keep it. I was told that it had 18000 original miles but I know for a fact after researching this car that it has 118000 original miles which is still great miles for a 39 year old car! It is a 4 cylinder engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. This car was restored a while back, maybe 5-8 years ago and it is in very good condition. The front fenders have a small amount of rust in the lower corners other than that the car is great! It looks like the engine has a new head on it but I'm just looking from the outside. It had new plugs, wires and a distributor not long ago and I just had the carb rebuilt and new fuel line and new filter. I just put in a brand new battery. It runs and drives great! The tires are in very good shape but the spare is pretty old. It has a custom full stainless exhaust on it that sounds great and had to be a fortune to have done. It has a pioneer radio in it with a tape deck that you can plug your phone into and it also has a 12 disc cd changer! Has some decent pioneer speakers in it, nothing special but they do sound good. I've been driving this car constantly since I got it and I have not had a single problem with it. I've even taken it to work a bunch of times and that's a 100 mile round trip! It is very good on gas! This thing is so much fun it should be illegal! All I'm trying to do is get out of it what I have in it from trading for it. On NADA it books much higher than what I'm asking for it. I will trade for almost anything as long as it is worth at least what my asking price is but I'm mainly a toyota guy.
