As you know, he Air Cooled 911 market is continuing to strengthen with time and cars such as this one are becoming harder and harder to find as each day goes on.

This particular 911 S was purchased by a gentleman in Montana who built a very nice driver for himself. The previous owner had started the process of having the car refinished, ut as so many people do, an out of funds before he could finish the car. The new owner took that opportunity to finish off the car exactly how he wanted starting with a complete respray in Mercedes Benz Aqua Blue.

The original 2.7 had been removed as a result of a parts failure ( which is what started the project for the previous owner ) so the new owner proceeded to install a newer 911 SC engine that he purchased from Rusty Tubs with 72K miles on the engine. During the engine install, e had the gearbox rebuilt and a new clutch installed to make this as nice of a driver as he could while he had the engine assembly out.

Classic Restoration in Reno, V supplied the new carpet and upholstery that was installed after the respray was complete.

When the car arrived to us here at Dallas Motorsports, e quickly decided that the “cookie cutter” wheels had to go ! A set of 15” Fuchs finished off the car quite nicely !

82 SC engine installed with 72K miles Rebuilt gearbox New Clutch Carpet and Upholstery done along with new seals, crews, lugs, oses, lamps etc. 1984 Carrera Whale Tail Door Pockets replaced with fiberglass units
