Car description

  • Greetings Porsche folks. :-( Our 40-year-old is leaving :-(Due to recent medical problems,we're having to sell some of the babies around the garage. This auction is for a very nice 1976 914 Porsche. We've owned the car for about 14 years. It's been stored inside a dry building and is very nicely preserved. We drove it for a few days out of the year, lanning to do a concourse restore on it some day - that's just not going to happen. Car has original~33,000 miles on the odometer.
  • Original2.0-litre engine with Hydraulic Lifters with Mild Camshaft &Dual ?44?mm Weber carbs installed on 2003, ll purchased new.Paint is at least 15 years old and may be original - but is in great condition and is very well presentable for a daily driver. Recall - the '75 & '76's have the great full bumper covers that just make the car. These are in VERY nice condition! See Pics.
It's not perfect by any means..., ut is one of the nicer, ear-original 914's you'll probably find. We're sad to see it go.

Don't miss your change to own one of these great pieces of sports car history. If you have any questions, lease ask them BEFORE bidding. We can answer most of your questions but it is sold "As-is, here-is." I'll also take calls from non-soliciting, on-advertising interested buyers. Pls respect my phone: 806.584.7647NOTICE: This vehicle may be listed on other selling medium and websites. First buyer from any of the sites who closes first, ets the car.

We take no responsibility for the time periods between sale closings.

Thanks & good luck.

Conversion was done back in October at cost of about $18k with approx. 28,000 original street miles on the vehicle. It's our daily driver and is the most fun driver we've ever had. OBD repos that itaverages 35 mpgaround town. We do not have long-trip stats but would expect 33-45 mgp. Transmission is original NSG370 6-speed. It's smooth, uns like a champ, nd sounds to kill for. It's never left the street and will include the original 28,000-mile steel 4.0 litre 6-cyl motor and some other hardware.

2. A 2011 Jeep (JK) Rubicon with about all of the toys including sway bar unlocking, ill assist, ockers, tc.It has about 40k street miles, s white with black fenders and hard targa top. Interior is black & buckskin 2-tonein near perfect condition.

Update: 2015.07.07

Per multiple requests - lots of pictures added. Pics will show a couple of places that will need attention where rust has started.

If you have any questions about buying the vehicle - please do not bid. It's a 40-yr-old car and is certain to need work to call it like-new - it's not and it's NOT perfect.

We note that the heater pipes (exhaust) are apparently stainless - the fan is in place but the small duct/hoses to the mufflers are missing. It was never driven here in winter and no onenoticed the heater ?hoses/ducts? not in place.
