1981 Porsche 930 turbo VIN WP0ZZZ93ZBS000486This car is gorgeous. when you see it in the sunlight and the metallic paint pops with those factory Fuchs wheels it is really beautiful. I typically do not like BBS wheels on a turbo but even the BBS basket weaves look great on this car with the color combo. Factory 930 turbo with less than 72. 00 original miles. Motor was rebuilt from the bottom up less than 2. 00 miles ago (I have the Invoice). One of the best running and driving stock turbo's I have ever owned. Car came from the factory as a Special order color (rosewood metallic) with Beige interior with brown and black accents. Sunroof car with optional limited slip. The car has had one bare metal respray using the factory Glasurit paint. Both the shop that rebuilt the engine and serviced the car for close to 15 years and the shop that painted the car are on the San Francisco Peninsula and have been in business for 30 years in the same location. Very well known with excellent reputations and both available to buyers to speak with. Paint is a strong 9. 5 and interior is a 7. 5 but not much work to make it perfect. Mechanically a 10. car runs and shifts beautifully. Factory Fuchs wheels in perfect condition. Also comes with a set of pristine BBS wheels of which are shown in the last photo. Also has factory Air conditioning but I have not put the compressor or condenser back on car. Both are boxed and in the trunk. Certificate of Authenticity in hand verifying options and that this turbo retains its original numbers matching drive train. CarFax is clean and picks the car up in 1985 to current. I believe I am the third owner. Car looks to have never been in any type of accident. There is absolutely no evidence of any accidents. Floor boards are nice. clean and straight. This car speaks for itself for anyone who drives it. The full. cases split. rebuild was completed to stock factory specifications. This is a Euro 1981 turbo. Publications I have seen. one of Jürgen Barth's books. list the 1981 turbo as the lowest production 3. 3 liter turbo. Certainly runs better than any of the US versions I have owned/driven. The 930 turbo is one of the most coveted collectable Porsches and is considered by many to be undervalued when taking into account the price of the higher production early 911's and the 1973 RS . I can assist with shipping world wide at buyers expenseCar is for sale locally and therefore I reserve the right to end the auction early as long as it has not met reserve.
