This incredible 1979 Turbo Carrera is a completely original and unmolested example with only 40k original miles. It is a single owner California vehicle that was an early production '79 produced in September 1978 before being shipped and delivered to Arnold Wiebe Porsche in Visalia, Ca. Purchased and owned solely in California since new, this 930 shows no sign of having seen winter or wet weather driving. This early 911 Turbo is completely stock all the way down to its original Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and the vehicle still wears its factory original Silver Metallic paint and Turbo side graphics. The 41 year old paint shows no sign of sun damage, fading, checking or imperfection. The forged 16" Fuch wheels are original with no damage, fading sand blasting or pitting with the exception of a small rub on the right rear wheel lip (pictured). All glass is original, as is the black leather interior, dash, carpet, etc. The interior shows no sign of sun damage, shrinking, fading, friction wear. The carpets remain plush and dark, and the dash is free of shrinking, bowing or cracks. The undercarriage shows no sign of dragging or low clearance damage, and is free of corrosion or weather related aging. Mechanically, the 3.3 litre engine received a full reseal, updated head studs and valve seals at Rector Porsche in Burlingame in September 2019 at 39,661 miles. The drivetrain has been verified with PCNA to be original with both the engine and gearbox numbers matched to the chassis. No deferred maintenance or surprises lurk beneath the surface, as this is one of the most well kept and preserved 930's left on the planet. The seller has retained all maintenance documents since new, and all factory manuals, literature are present as well as the original monroney sticker showing the original MSRP of $40,195 including the California Emissions charge, and 2 master keys.
