Gallery Junction is pleased to offer this 1973 Porsche 911E Targa.
The 911 E was designed to be the most comfortable of the 911 models; many were lavishly appointed with a variety of factory options. Conceived to fit in between the 911 T and the 911 S, the E designation stood for einspritzung, German for "injection," noting mechanical fuel injection. For 1973 Porsche produced just 1,055 examples of the 911 E Targa. The 911 E is powered by a 2.4-liter horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine featuring mechanical fuel injection. The engine is paired to the desirable five-speed manual transmission, an option at the time.
The example on offer here has been lovingly restored to original specification. It is finished in its factory original color combination of black on black and is numbers matching as documented by the accompanying Porsche COA. The car has been repainted with a stunning paint job over a very straight, tight and solid body with gaps and lines that are as they should be. It is as nice and solid underneath as it is on top and features original sheet metal and floor pans. In addition to a beautifully reupholsteredblack leather interior using high quality hides. A few small attention to details remain with small cosmetic items, we couldn't wait to bring this one to market. It is a 911E not to be missed.
We offer Facetime or video- walk arounds. www.galleryjunction.com
