Gallery Junction is very pleased to present this exceptional 1969 Porsche 911T Coupe.
The 1969 model year marked the first important changes to Porsche’s well-received 911 series. The wheelbase was lengthened by 2.4 in., which served to greatly enhance the car’s handling characteristics. The fenders were slightly flared to make room for larger wheels and tires, and the interior heating and cooling system was improved, as Porsche made steady improvements on the design.
This very attractive 911 T coupe left the Karmann plant 9 April 1969, painted in a special order color from the special order color book, the most stunning and rarely seen Golden Green (6828), nearly entirely original paint, with a black leatherette interior. It was delivered to its first owner with options including a five-speed manual transmission, five-gauge instrument package, front and rear bumperettes, a Becker cassetteradio with antenna, and Pirelli tires, tinted glass all around, chrome ventilated Fuchs wheels and a loud speaker in dash. The original owner kept the car until 1973 at which time the second owner, also of California purchased the car. He retained ownership and care of the car from 1973 until 2019. Under his 46 years of ownership, the car was regularlymaintained as needed and the car retains nearly all original paint as well as its originally issuedCalifornia black license plates. The third owner, a very well respected So. Cal collector purchased the vehicle and commissioneda mechanical rejuvenationwith attention to the mechanicals and not the cosmetics as to preserve the beautiful patina of the car. Having then gone through the mechanicals he decided to drive the car for a bit and then offer it in all its glory and wonderful driving characteristics to a new owner that would appreciate the car as much as the first three owners. We have a number of additional pictures and video available so please inquire.
We offer Facetime or video- walk arounds.
