1977 Porsche 924 - Condition is Used. I bought this as a project car and have not been able to finish it. Most of the work was done on the engine, with new head gasket, new silicon vacuum lines, new spark plugs wires and plugs, new distributor, new coil and new battery. The car turns over and starts, but runs rough for a few minutes and then smooth's out. The transmission shifts very well. The brakes barely work. The car comes with new Brembo rear drum's still in the box. One of the two cooling fans does not work, so the engine start to overheat, but cools down when not standing still. The brakes and the cooling fan were two next two items on my list to repair. There is some small bubbling about the size of a quarter on the driver door. It has not come thru the paint. Other than that, no rust. The interior needs some TLC. I have not done any work on the interior. The tires are good with a lot of rubber still on them. The odometer is incorrect. It had $72k on the clock when I bought it. I've probably put about another 5K on it sine then. I will also include a relatively new car cover. This is not a show car, even though from 20 feet it looks pretty good. When running, it handles very well and is a lot of fun to drive. It has an ANSA exhaust system, so the engine sounds great. With another project coming in, I've run out of room and need to sell. Will entertain offers. The car has a clear Michigan title. Buyer responsible for the cost of picking up the car. Payment in full required within three days of purchase or it goes back up for sale. Wire bank transfer preferred. Car must be picked up within two weeks of purchase. Note: the car is being sold "as is" with no returns, so please look at the pictures carefully and ask any questions you may have. I am located in Rockford Michigan, which is a suburb north of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
