Car description |

You are buying/bidding on a 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 (original G50 car) body shell only in cassis red as shown. The customer had bought the car (with a bad engine) to transfer all components of his wrecked, very low mileage 1988 Carrera into it, when he realized this car had been in an accident and he sold the roller to us. We parted the roller out. The title is clean (no salvage title) but the vehicle history report shows an accident incidence in Kentucky in 1996.
This body shell was hit on the passenger side front and has some wrinkles inside the trunk area around the smuggler box area as shown. It could be repaired or the shell could be used for a rear clip. It comes with a clean PA title (not a salvage title). Please check out all photos in detail, we always take a lot of them to present the body shell as honestly as we can.
We at Thoroughbred Motorsports bought the roller from our customer and parted it out. We were going to properly repair this shell on our Celette bench, but our Celette bench is booked solid for a year ahead. Instead of taking up valuable shop space, we decided to see if someone wants to purchase the shell as is, either for repairing or maybe to use the rear clip.
We just realized at the beginning of the week that we never transferredthe title into our name (the owner of the business's name) and did so a few days ago. We should have the new PA title in hand in a few days before the auction is over, it usually takes about 10 days.
What you see in the photos is what you get. Please study the photos carefully.
The customer is responsible for picking the car up in Corry, PA. Shipping is the customer's responsibility but we will of course assist in getting it loaded. The shell comes complete with the simple, rolling, wooden frame as shown.
To make it clear, for sale is only the body shell as shown, (with the wooden, rolling moving-frame as shown included) no engine, no transmission, no glass, no interior, no suspension, or brakes are included.
