All original unrestored 1980 Envemo Super 90 Coupe1.6 air cooled engine with twin carburatorsSeats and door panels in perfect conditionCarpet in very condition for its age needing some TLCMany original Porsche parts, such as VDO instrumentsPaint in nice conditionShipping to the US/Europe costs +- U$ 5000 and can be arranged directly with Kombi Brazil, a Dutch export company which has exported nearly 2000 vehicles from Brazil in the past years. They also provide an inspection service, which I highly recommend. The whole payment can be made through them.Envemo prices have rapidly escalated and will keep on going up following the prices of original 356s
For 1/4 of the price, this replica will provide you the joy and the looks of an originalPorsche, plus the reliability and simplicity of the VW mechanics. This is a superp car to be used as daily driver, without the worries of an over U$ 100k vintage Porsche.Known as one of the best 356 C replicas in the world (most replicas are 356 A) it shares the same body and tooling as prestige Porsche replica builders such as Beck and Chamonix, which acquired all molds and equipment from Envemo in the late 80's.This is no simple replica. The attention to details is what makes the Envemo Super 90 stand out among other replicas.Don't miss out on this oportunity. This is the only original Coupe advertised in the whole world
Envemo history
In 1979, Luis Fernando Golçalves, director of ENVEMO and owner of an original Porsche 356 1964, decided to manufacture a genuine clone of his car. He had his own car completely dismantled, allowing the production of tools and templates for the lamination of the body in fiberglass. For the basic mechanics, ENVEMO used the chassis of the VW Brasilia (with the platform shortened by 300 mm) and its VW 1.6 air cooled engine with 65 CV and dual carburetors. Due to the difference in width of the adopted chassis, a small enlargement of the body in the back was required, almost imperceptible even if replica and original 356 were placed side by side. Other trim components were faithfully reproduced or even imported from Germany. This dedication was readily recognized, not only by the especialized press, but by the factory in Germany: presented in 1980 in Hannover, the Envemo Super 90 was praised by the commercial director of Porsche, who emphasized: "even the feeling you have when driving this car resembles the original" .
