Our shop did most of the work on this car over the last two years for one of our customers. This was going to be a keeper for him as he is a Porsche enthusiast, that said a 911 popped up that he could not pass on. He worked out a deal with us as this car for payment for working on his 911. I happen to love these cars. Honestly I thought I would keep it but winter storage of to many collector cars is becoming an issue and I do not want to store it outside.
When it was brought to us the body was in nice condition. Not wrecked or anything like that. It was how ever faded way out and had lots of rock chips like they all get on the front. We took a few pictures of it sanded down so you can see it is not a wrecked beat up car. Car was resprayed about a little less than two years ago with PPG base clear.
New windshield last week as the old one had wiper burns that I did not like.

The interior was showing some age from normal use and some cracks in the seats that did not suit my customer. So the seats were completely stripped down, a little foam work if needed was done and they recovered in nice soft black leather. Same for the back seat. New carpet from the front to the back was made and installed. This includes the very rear of the car and side panels. Arm rest was also recovered. The door cards had normal wear and were remade to complete the inside. The dash is in nice original condition. This is not a cheap seat cover kit. This is all hand made and stitched correctly.
Previous owner was an enthusiast also. He did a lot of maintenance and upgrades. He did the timing belt around the 105k mark is what he told me. Larger inner cooler, boost gauge, controller and a exhaust system done about 80k mark. Around that time lowering springs and struts where installed.
Lights and such are in working order on this car.Headlight motors work well.
Car has lots of power and it tight to drive.
The radiator developed a leak in the plastic while in my care so a new all aluminum radiator was purchased and installed. Along with a few hoses that I did not like the look of. Oil change was just done.
Car does not have current tags at this point. If you wish to drive the car home a temp can be purchased or to get tags we will have to turn the title into Oregon and a new one can be sent out in about 3 or 4 weeks.
We ran a carfax on the car. No salvage or damage showed up. One inconsistency showed up on the mileage. the best guess is it was a clerical error is what car fax thinks.
Miles on an 86 are considered exempt but I do feel they are correct at 130k. I have pictures of the underside of the car, it is not as new but shows very well and I do not think shows higher miles.
These 944 turbos have been climbing in value greatly in the last few years. This is a nice solid, great looking car to invest in.

Cost does depend on covered or not and when as I do go to AZ around Christmas to see my parents.
