Car description

Beautiful & Mechanically Sound, 1979 Porsche SC aka Super Carrera with desirable original stock 3.0 engine. Car has been repainted once and engine was totally rebuilt with quality parts (about 20k on rebuild), rebuilt brake calipers, seats reupholstered, always garage kept. no rot on bottom. no rust needed fixing or needs fixing. included is your choice of oem whale tail spoiler or the plastic engine grille. I took the spoiler off because i prefer that look, but car has 3 holes in the deck lid from previous spoiler installation. also, i do not have the 911 sc script as i think this car had the spoiler since new. new BOSCH OEM fuel pump! engine starts and runs beautifully. stops well! shifts well! get in and drive anywhere! the known issues: clock doesn't work, nor oil level, nor fuel gauge (same gauge-i suspect the connection) nor odometer (suspect the gear needs replacing). (all of that used to work, but quit within the last year). I have driven the car maybe 500miles this year so it's pretty accurate (actual miles about 129388) engine has headers on it. I have the original heat exchangers but they need rust repair; no muffler or cat converter. also, e-brake needs adjusting as it won't hold car on steep hill. passenger window motor wire blew a fuse so you need to take panel off and check for wire contacting the metal. targa rear glass has never been removed nor seal. 16" fuchs and space saver spare. plenty of tread left. car originally had ac, but compressor and bracket were removed. Other AC components are still present. I may have the ac compressor to include if I kept it. aftermarket radio. original key works in both ignition and glovebox. battery is nearly dead in "key light bulb." I am selling because I do not drive this car enough and do need to hold on to it if I don't have time to enjoy it.
Full payment due within 3 days after auction end or I will relist & report non-paying bidders. $1000USD non refundable deposit due within 24 hours via paypal, preferably right away. No reserve. Whatever the car sells for, it sells for. There is no negotiation after the fact. I have been upfront about the condition of the car! Cash (USD) in person preferred or wire tranfer. Buyer responsible for any payment sending/receiving fees. I can store car for a few weeks after auction while shipping is arranged which is buyer's responsibility. Car starts, runs, drives, shifts, steers, & stops so it can be driven onto a trailer or flat bed or shipping container. I welcome international buyers, but they must speak English to facilitate transaction. i have sold half a dozen cars on ebay in the last decade and theyhave gone to Australia & Europe & South America.
As Always, I am looking for 356, 911, 914-6, & 912 projects. fivefourzerothreefiveeightzero330
