1974 Porsche 914, 1.8L, Black on Black, Fiberglass Fender Flares, Runs and Drives Well, Transmission Shifts Smoothly. New battery. Great looking car with an aggressive stance! I bought this vehicle in the Spring of 2018. I took it on several trips around town, showed it off to the neighbors and then parked it proudly in my garage with the intention of restoring it to its former glory; it then sat under a car cover for a year until I got it out this weekend for a joyride. This 914 has the typical rust commonly found on these vehicles (pictured). There are plenty of cosmetic flaws which I have done my best to depict in the pictures. The previous owner had bypassed the ignition - to start the vehicle, you turn the key to the "on" position and depress a button. There is no switch for the trunk release but the trunk can be opened by touching two wires together to complete the circuit. The passenger door does not open as the latch mechanism is broken, driver's side door opens from outside only. This 914 would be a great candidate for restoration, weekend drives or general admiration. Odometer reading is 04562, actual mileage is unknown. This car is sold as-is with no warranty. If you have a question, please ask prior to bidding.
