Good Day! I can truly say this Porsche 359 is one of the coolest and funnest cars I've ever driven. Right off the bat. I'm proud to announce this is a DMV Titled Special Construction Kit Car. Yes. it's one of the few that make it through the rigorous California process to gain permission to be titled SPCN. Therefore. its 1969 1600cc VW Motor can be turned into whatever you want without restrictions. (Hence the 1969 year in the listing. ) I had a brake drum and rear brake pad service and that's it! This baby has 433 miles on the motor and it drives amazingly well. Handles extraordinarily well and actually gets up to speed fairly well! I know most of you that are looking at this listing have an idea about the 359 so I won't go into too many details. I simply LOVE the body style as it's not your typical snobbish Porsche - but more of a concept vehicle that you NEVER see on the road. Why be the same as everyone else out there with a shiny $$$ Porsche that looks exactly the same as every other model on the road - when you can have a head-turner like this!!? Guys - I'm simply looking to raise money for a couple projects and so if I don't get close to my Buy-It-Now. I'll suck it up and keep it. It's been garaged the last two or so years that I've owned it in between taking it on a nice leisurely weather permitting drive. I have a clear California title in hand and I also have what seems to be a top for it - though I've never tried putting it on as it defeats the purpose of this convertible. *Please Note - I believe CMC manufactured this body in 1993 and I've seen prices all over the board. Recently a convertible sold for over $12K and then there also was a fairly recent listing for just a CMC 359 Body for over $4K. This is fully turn-key and driving excellent for $7500. There are a couple tiny little scuffs that will easily come out. Other than that the only other thing I would do is probably remove the Viper Alarm as it's extremely loud and works extremely well but seems to drain the battery. so I usually unplug a terminal when I'm not driving it. I'm selling it As-Is and for an excellent price. Only 359 On Ebay! We can arrange a meeting place for delivery. I also want to inform you I did take the 'Porsche' stickering off the rear (only) so it is not included. (Looks much better. )**I just added three photos of the stamping under the hood. You will find the California BAR Label also showing it to be a '2013 SPCN Porsche' just so you're aware. Thanks for looking and feel free to email me with any questions you may have.
