Its hard to imagine that just a few year prior to the introduction to the 3.2 Carrera that some of the heads at Porsche were planning on phasing out the 911 altogether to focus on the 928 and 944 models as they saw the 911 as a dying breed, however sales were strong and someone had the notion to put some new life in to 911 and the 3.2 was born. A more powerful, economical and reliable drivetrain was added... to a almost identical body as the SC with the exception of the integrated fog lights. Only a few cosmetic changes happened for the 3.2 Carrera that was built from 1984-1989. This particular unmolested two-owner from new Carrera has traveled just over 38,000 miles in its existence and from what we can tell has had zero paint work showing a very nice shine and clean interior. The top is original and works as it should. The 911 starts with the twist of the key and sounds exactly as it should with out any leaks or smoke. Very little has been done to this car with the exception of routine maintenance and oil changes, this car has proven very reliable. It goes down the road very nicely and shifts and brakes as it should. This is a very nice 3.2 Carrera that would be a welcome addition to any garage.
