This car has been in storage since 2004 in California, the previous owner reported that the car had an alarm fitted and the car did not start correctly after install, then finally would not start at all. The long-term storage was a direct result of the alarm addition, we have since removed this and the car starts no problem.

We have cleaned the car, added fresh gas and a battery and confirm the car sounds very well indeed, please take the time to listen to our video attached. The exterior gloss black paint looks great, car was washed and then polished by hand, a great survivor car this that presents very well, you would be happy to use this as a daily driver with little work. Body work is very straight indeed and the panel gaps look just as they should, the bumpers are also in good condition.

The underside of the car is fantastic, this car is 42 years old and you can tell it has lived in California all of its life. No nasty rusty holes in floor pans here, looks just like Porsche intended with some light brush/travel marks from the car being used/pre-enjoyed. Please take the time to study the images of the underside, exhaust, heat exchangers, motor, ducting, suspension all look in clean used condition from a dry storage period.

The interior of the car is fabulous, images speak for themselves. The black leather seats are supple and very clean in appearance, carpet is original and just what you would expect for the miles covered (but very well cared for).

The dash top, clocks, shifter and door cards are all in good shape and represent very well. Please take note of the image showing the factory fitted rear window sticker, the "911S" is still very visible although faded.

The Targa panel is very nice, no rips or tares on the covering surface, all levers work just as they should, moves in and out of position with no issues. All glass as it should be, no cracks with window trim in survivor original condition.

Under the front trunk the original tool kit is laid where is should be, please take note of the images that represent this, it does appear all tools are present, please inspect these for yourself. The floor pan VIN# of the car is clearly seen, as is the driver's door jamb VIN# Decal, and also the driver's side front jamb paint tag. Engine number and transmission number are also shown in the images, neither look like they have ever been removed, all heads of bolts look like they were installed and left alone since 1977 - this is my opinion only.

The Wheels are the correct "Fuchs" items, no kerb rash, rim edges in great shape with some faded paint in the centres, wheel bolts the same. These are what you would hope for, very nice indeed for their age. Tires are Pirelli Super Sports, they look new, not sure how long ago they have been fitted, as not by us.

The motor and trans are clean, images show detail on both, California smog still in place, A/C compressor present but no belt fitted, all correct factory decals under hood still remain. Although the car starts and idles well, there is a small misfire present so would advise a full tune up - in essence this car has sat for 15 years, itWILLrequire a full checking over before you would attempt to use due to extended storage period. Car is supplied with Clean California Title.

Please note:This is not a New Porsche 911 this is a 42-year-old classic car that will require some work before it can be enjoyed. If you have never owned a classic car before, please - this is not a new Honda!
