1991 Porsche 944 S2
This 1991 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet is very clean and in very good condition, with only normal aging and wear. The engine runs very well and the car drives very nice. The transmission shifts well with a light and easy clutch operation. The brakes work well and stops the car nicely. The car recently received an A/C servicing and now blows cold air. Nice driving 944 S2. The exterior, the black paint is good with only the expected normal wear, small minor rock chips, little scuffs/scratches, and average natural wear. The Michelin tires are in very good condition with the front two tires installed less than 100 miles ago. The canvas convertible top (power) is in very good condition and operates well. The interior is in clean very good condition with no major cracks in the dash or leather. Seats are leather with power and manual functions. Interior has a clean smell, no odors or smoke. The vehicle has a clean CarFax history. Unfortunately the car does not come with a service history. Purchased in Little Rock AR, and has stayed in central Arkansas with two owners. The car comes with jack, tool kit and Owners manual (books). This would be a great first time Porsche, a wonderful weekend cruiser, or daily convertible Porsche sports car. Ready to enjoy.
A light about Porsche 944 S2 model. Known in the Porsche world for it's great car control and balance, sporty yet comfortable driving character, as well as being economical in the Porsche range of models. In 1989, the 944 S2 was introduced, powered by a larger naturally aspirated, 3.0L 4-cylinder engine with 16-valve dual-overhead-cam producing 208 hp. The 944 S2 also received a revised transmission and gearing to better suit the 3.0L engine. The S2 had the same rounded nose and a rear valance found on the Turbo model. Quoted performance figures back in the day was a 0-60 acceleration time of 6.8 seconds. In 1990, Porsche introduced the S2 Cabriolet, the first 944 model to feature a convertible body style. The top is power operated. Porsche produced 3,938 of the 944 S2 cars.
