Car description

1983 Porsche 928s with 3,142 original miles - Possibly one of the lowest 928's in existance!
Vehicle was a true barn find, I purchased it from an estate around 2009. I have copies of the previous title showing 2.688 miles. I have owned the car for over 10 years.
The vehicle was in a state of disrepair when I found it, as it had been sitting in a garage for approx. 10 years when I purchased it. It would have taken far more time and effort than I have available to make this a museum quality piece, so I decided to get it driving and customize it to my specific likings. Make it a nice driver but keep the spirit of the original vehicle in tact and not chop the car up. I sorted the vehicle mechanically, then picked away at the exterior to complete my goal of making it a car I was not scared to drive.
Recent work performed-
Timing belt and water pump were completed at 3,000 mi, as well as a new battery and oil change and wipers.Oil pan resealed, motor mounts replacedBBS RS wheels refinished, new Hankook Evo tires installedSparco seats/harnesses/harness bar installed 01/20191987+ Front bumper conversion with OEM foglights ( foglights alone were $900)Vehicle was wrapped white - Avery vinyl 01/2019Carbon fiber splitter 01/2019NOS OEM leather mirror covers 01/2019
Mechanical condition- Vehicle starts, runs, but does NOT move. I was driving to work this morning 05/17/2019 and it would not leave the stop sign. I can no longer allocate time to maintaining my vehicle collection so the car is being sold as is.
Closing notes- Vehicle is not completely finished. There are missing C pillar interior panels, rear carpets, A/C is not installed, fog lights need wired, radio needs wired, etc. Items just need picked away at. I would call it 90-95% depending on your idea of finished. To me the car was 98% - but to each their own.
The car is not a museum quality piece, but is a true driver. This means there is dry rubber trim, a few nicks & dings, wear, items typical of a vehicle that is 35 years old.
I am liquidating my collection to fund and further my career as a pilot.
