Car description

We sell quite a few 911s, and rarely get one that's as well-documented as this car. In addition to the bundle of original owner's books and spare keys, there is a large binder with past sales & service receipts starting with the original window sticker right up to the most recent service. Sold new in Houston, the car was traded back in on a new Porsche and was then resold to another Houston owner--a lady who took great pride in her car. Several years ago (before the Houston floods!) the family moved to Denver and continued maintaining the car diligently at local Porsche specialty shops.
The car has a clean CarFax report, but did suffer very light damage to the left front fender when someone backed into it in a parking lot. ("It was so low, I couldn't see it!") Going over the car with a professional paint meter confirms factory paint depth everywhere else on the body. The front bumper has been repainted due to chips and is about due for it again. Paint match was excellent and the car presents exceptionally well. The deep blue leather interior is excellent with NO wear on the driver's seat bolster, dash cracks or other typical faults. The power top works great and the top fabric was replaced a few years ago.
It is sitting on a recent set of Michelins, with all original emission equipment and a recent brake job including all rotors. Records show that 15,000 miles ago the car received a new clutch, steering rack, tie rods, struts and all CV boots. An Alpine Bluetooth-enabled modern radio has recently replaced the original unit. Air Conditioning is serviced with modern 134A refrigerant. The car runs and drives very well and has no bad habits. The most recent service, done just a few hundred miles ago, included ALL the drive belts, distributor belt, ALL filters, spark plugs, hood supports and full oil service. The shop performed a diagnostic leak-down test and found remarkably good results--only 2-3% across all cylinders. The recent state emission test also shows hydrocarbon and CO readings at less than half what is allowed. The engine is very healthy, with no smoke or strange noises, but it does have some oil leaks. Our local Porsche shop diagnosed a leaking timing cover, which would necessitate having a piece of cardboard under the car in your garage. The car is being sold AS-IS with the leaks disclosed. You are welcome to call our sales team at (720) 588-8427 with any questions. The car will sell at whatever the high bid is, but be aware that a winning bid does NOT allow making the actual purchase decision later. Please do NOT bid unless you are prepared to follow through with payment if you are the winner. Due Diligence is welcome BEFORE the end of the auction, however. Please see payment restrictions below.
