Car description

1974 Porsche 914 2.0L. Engine runs, there is a little hesitation until the car warms up. It runs strong thru all 4 gears. The Brakes work not as strong as I would like. 5 lug Porsche Fuchs wheels which are in reasonably good condition with very little curb rash. The tires are in good condition and show no wear. The paint is Ok but because of all of the bubbling rust will need a paint job. There is also a fair amount of rust underneath the pan but only a few holes. The front and rear bumper were replaced at some time with the fiberglass 916 style bumpers. The mileage is unknown but the title shows 33500. I have had the car for a little over 1 year. When I purchased it she wouldn't run when I got her the brakes were froze up, also the door handles were broken off and the triangle window on the drivers door was missing as well as the mirror on the drivers side was broken. I fixed all of those items and a few others and am actually considering stripping the car and doing a full correct restoration but I thought I'd try and get my money out of it first and if it sells then it sells, if not I am going to spend the money to make it right. I will answer any questions that I can. I think the car would be alot of fun to drive as I have driven it down the road a few times. I have set the price at what I have into the car and it is a no reserve auction.

*** Just had an expert look at the car regarding the Rust, He said that it is not bad and not much rust for a 914. He said for fixing the rust and painting the car $3500 or If I want to take it to the next level to sandblast all of the paint off and strip the car $8500 plus $1500 for the sandblasting but he said he doesn't think the car needs that and that the $3500 would most likely take care of all the problem areas.
