1962 Porsche 356 Convertible Super 90
The 356 was a lightweight and nimble-handling rear-engine rear-wheel-drive2-door sportscaravailable in hardtop coupe and open configurations. Engineering innovations continued during the years of manufacture contributing to its motorsports success and popularity. This beautiful example has been privately owned and stored indoors. Finished in factory gray over a beautiful red interior.
The original super 90 flat 4 cylinder air cooled motor runs strong and pulls hard. The factory 4 speed manual transmission shifts very well. The steering brakes and suspension are proper and tight making this beautiful collector quality Porsche an absolute pleasure to drive. The German Canvas convertible top is in excellent condition. The carburetors were recently rebuilt and fuel system flushed. Over $15,000.00 in maintenance receipts and this is a very reliable car that can be driven daily. Excellent restoration to original specifications.
This very rare and collectable Porsche would make an excellent addition to any collection. It runs and drives perfectly and has been with the same owner for many years. This is a California car originally in Los Angeles.
