It's not a Porsche, it's a Super Porsche. MotoeXotica Classic Cars presents this 1977 Porsche 911S, your opportunity to own a German and sports car icon. Nineteen seventy-seven was the final model year for the 911 Super and this example was the 700thto leave the assembly line. It was one of 3,388 911S Coupes exported to the U.S. in 1977 and is finished in desirable Silver Metallic paint and optioned with power sunroof, factory air conditioning, metallic paint and fog lights.

This 911S has spent majority of its life in California and recently has benefited from $5k in service from European Motorsports in Vista California. The recent service back in October includednew brake booster, new brake master, adjusted parking brake, new full pedal assembly, new shock inserts, new oil lines and adjusted lubed heater controls.

This 911 overall is a very well sorted classic Porsche and is obvious that it has always been owned by caring enthusiastic owners in the past. According to notes from a previous owner, the engine was rebuilt at 100k miles. The undercarriage is also original and in good condition, please see photos.

This example was made at Porsche's Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen, West Germany factory in January 1977. Its Silver Metallic paint (code 936) and trim are in overall excellent shape. The glass and lights, include the Hella headlights and foglights peeking out below the front bumper, are all in good, original condition. New for 1977 were flush-mounted door locks.

The car's bodywork is straight, its body-colored bumpers are in great shape and its engine bay is tidy. This Porsche rolls on Yokohama radials, size 195/65R15 at all four corners. The tires are in very good order while the black, Fuchs alloy wheels are in good, original order. These now legendary 'Fuchsfelge' were designed to improve brake cooling (and reduce unsprung mass) for the four-wheel disc brakes. The famous five-leaf Fuchs wheel design would be a 911 staple until 1989.

Out back is a 2.7L, air-cooled flat six-cylinder engine fitted with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection. Backing this motor is a five-speed manual transmission. Driver convenience features include a metal sunroof, factory air conditioning and headlamp washers.

Inside, the car's black interior is in complete good, original shape - the front and rear seats, the carpet, neutral headliner, three-spoke steering wheel, instrument panel, which is fitted with VDO gauges, inner door panels, center console and shift lever. Completing the car's interior is a Pioneer AM/FM stereo with cassette deck.

Documentation includes original owner's manual, original CIS troubleshooting guide and owner's maintenance notes, circa 1981. Included with original tool bag and tools.

Competition to this 911 in 1977 included BMW's 630 CSi, Chevrolet's Corvette, Datsun's 280Z, Lotus' Esprit and Mercedes-Benz's 280 SLC.
