1990 Porsche 964 911 Convertible

This 964 was ordered new from the factory in Guards red with Cashmere/Black Leather interior and a black canvas top. Notable options include 8-way adjustable front power seats, M220 limited-slip differential, Alpine premium sound, and draped leather front seats. The car was sold new in Illinois, and shortly made its way to Florida where it was serviced regularly. The car went to North Carolina for a short time and continued to Tennessee where it would have long term ownership. While in Tennessee this C2 was maintained and serviced by Harper Porsche on a regular basis. The car has had a clean accident free history as documented by the Carfax and Autocheck. It comes with several records and documents going back to new. The documented history of the cars paints a picture of very consistent service and maintenance that has kept this low mileage example a real gem.

This is a very original Carrera. A few items have been added to greaten the driving experience. The Alpine stereo system has been replaced by a full Pioneer System (amplifiers, CD changer, Speakers, and Head Unit). Also, a hidden K40 Radar detector has been added. Other than this, the car is all stock.

The car is very well sorted for an early 964. The interior shows some wear to be expected from a car if its age. The side skirts on the car show some areas or rock chips.

There is service history going back to new on the car. The Carfax documents service at nearly every year of the cars history. Many of the records are from Porsche dealers.

The last two major services include: Major AC work...converted to R134A resulting in cold AC. The Top motor was replaced by Porsche. Brake Booster and master Cylinder were replaced...and most recently the Engine was refreshed. New rings were installed, and new seals were installed throughout (case was not spilt). The seals in these motors dry from time and start to leak..nothing was wrong with the engine other than oil leaks. While apart, the intake was rebuilt with new boots and several new lines, injectors cleaned, new spark plugs, and the ignition system checked and cleaned.

The car comes with all of the tools, jack, spare, and compressor. It also has all of the books, two sets of keys, and clean Carfax/Autocheck. It is a wonderful low mileage example in an attractive color combination. Very well maintained car that drives great and has lots of strong power. Everything works well and it is ready to go!
