D ROSE MOD, Inc. 1983 Porsche 911 SC Click on image to enlarge Listed for sale is a 1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet in terrific condition. This air cooled cabrio spent nearly all its life on the west coast and it shows! The car shows a clean and thorough carfax/autocheck, which is available upon request.
The vehicle is in terrific mechanical condition and similarly excellent cosmetic condition.
This is a matching numbers car. These later air cooled cars were galvanized and therefore, this 911 is unbelievably rust free. It has also been garaged since day 1 from my understanding. The car started its life briefly in Massachusetts and was in California and Utah from the late 80's until a few months ago.
The 911 Comes with tens of thousands of dollars of repair receipts. I've got 25+ sets of repair documents that I'm happy to send your way!
The top goes down nicely... simply forgot to take photos with the top down that day. Also just replaced the latchmechanisms ($500+).
AC System has also been fully re-done in 2018.
The car has new oil tubes installed and fresh oil. Timing chain and tensioners were done about 10K miles ago. Lots of receipts over the years. I would drive this anywhere without any worries. Zero rust, paint is clean, and looks great.
Vehicle has power windows, power mirrors, power locks, power antenna, AM/FM CD. The interior seats have no rips or tears and the convertible top is nearly new.
This was the first year of production for the 911 Cabriolet and is therefore undoubtedly a terrific investment-grade and rare vehicle. Numerous magazines and scholarly sources list the 1983 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet as a classic that will continue to increase in desirability.
Some of the many option codes listed for this car include:
