1966 Red 912!

1966 Porsche 912 5 Speed

This 912 was built on the 19th November 1965 as a 66 Model with wood steering wheel, side mirror and radio antenna. Originally finished in Golf Blue it was repainted in the 90’s in Polo Red. Paint and body are in very clean condition for its age, a car you would be very happy to drive and represent on a daily basis. The Wood Rim is long gone and has been replaced by its factory counterpart…This car has been looked after and kept in a good running & driving condition.

The motor is turn key, no smoke or issues, runs fantastic, runs through the gears just as it should. The motor is #’s matching, a looked after example indeed.

The wheels are in fantastic condition (Chrome Steels), the Black Leatherette interior the same, seats are near perfect with no signs of wear to the covers, headliner in very nice shape (please see images) and the finished Coco Matts compliment the rest of the cabin to boot.

The front trunk is clean, spare wheel present, the engine bay is very presentable and looks period. Mileage on the car is recorded as 98,425, although a later style odometer has been fitted to the car in the past. This car is what I would describe as a “Driver Quality” vehicle, not concours but something you could use and commute every day in without worrying about the odd rock chip or two… Please take the time to go through the images, you will notice the inclusion of the Factory Warranty Card (Kardex) showing all information on how the car left Stuttgart (A Rare Document). In short this is a very clean 912 that you could use on a daily basis and take to a show and shine.
