1962 Porsche 356 B Notchback Coupe Project, VIN 201879 Engine 702262
Here we have a car you won't see again anytime soon, a 356B T6 Twin Grill Karmann Notchback. This is by far one of the rarer 356's with less than 700 being built. 201879 looks to have originally been Ivory, paint code 6204, and comes with a black interior. New floors have been welded in. Please look closely at all the pictures, many of the rare Notchback pieces are pictured off the car, stuff like the rear glass, corner windows, and interior trim pieces that are Notchback specific. Notchbacks that still retain their tops are getting even more scarce since so many were chopped into cabriolets back in the day. Porsche utilized Cabriolet Bodies when they developed the Notchback and because of that many went under the knife in the years that followed, luckily this one did not. While there are new floors installed there is still plenty of metal repair work to be done on the underside, please look closely at all the pictures. The car is currently in black primer but you can see the Ivory on the dash and bumpers, to give you an idea how nice this car will look when restored. If you've been looking for a 356 that will wow at any show, this may be the car for you. Once restored you can drive to the next concour and go past the line of restored Speedsters and show the Porsche world a car most have probably not seen, the ever elusive twin grill Notchback. Don't miss out!
Clear title and ready for export.
