1987 Porsche 944 NA - Original 75k Miles with:
I'm selling my Porsche 944 to free up space. It's in decent shape... only minor wear and tear that is to be expected from a 30 year-old car. There are a few minor paint chips, and some light damage to the front driver-side bumper. A GMC Sierra was backing up next to me, and the foot rail hit my Porsche. I never filed a claim, so it's still a clean CarFax and AutoCheck.
The tires have a decent amount of tread, and the clutch still feels great.
The only mechanical work that I know it needs would be a new timing belt and water pump (They aren't slipping or anything, but it's probably coming up soon), the A/C needs to be recharged, it needs a new power steering rack and pinion, and the Sunroof microswitch will need to be fixed.
Overall, this car is still in good shape, and it's hard to find something with all of the original items I have. According to Hagerty and doing some research online, a Porsche 944 in showroom quality is going for $15k-$19k. With just a little bit of work, you could have a true collector's car for less than that!
I also have a loan on the car, so any transactions will be made through Escrow. They'll handle the title and paying off the car, so both of us are safe.
Please message me with any questions, so this can be a completely transparent transaction.
Offers are also welcome.
- Original Owner's Manual and sales person's business card.
- Original stamped service book with VIN matching sticker and Option Codes!
- Original toolkit!
- Original Compressor Pump - Like new condition!
- Original emergency kit (see photos)!
