All Original, number matching 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa
Recently acquired from long term ownership, this numbers matching 1980 Porsche 911 SC Targa is a great, low mileage car that would be ideal for restoration, or make a great driver as is.
History:
The car was a two owner car with the original owner only having it for four years prior to the second owner owning it until a couple of months ago. The car was a daily driver and lived its life in Roswell, GA, just about 20 miles north of Atlanta, GA. This mild climate persevered the car over the years, as it is rock solid and rust free, with the exception of the deck lidunder the tail where some debris must have collected under the car cover.
The car has 118K miles and appears to have been serviced and maintained prior to storage. Once I received the car I changed the oil, installed a new fuel pump, fuel filter and a new battery and it fired right up.

Mechanics:
Low mileage, original car with just 118K miles. Recent oil service, new battery, fuel pump and fuel filter. The engine runs good and sounds great. The brakes work and appear to have been reconditioned prior to storage. The transmission and clutch shift smoothly. All of the accessories and lights work as they should.
Exterior:
The car is sporting its original 936 Silver Metallic paint and is in very good overall condition. The car is very solid with no evidence of any accidents or repairs. Due to being stored under a cover for many years the paint / clear has been compromised and would need to be repainted. The only rust on the car is on the deck lid under the tail where it appears some debris had collected some moisture. The Targa top is in good shape, as well as the Fuchs.
Interior:
The original interior is in decent shape. The driver's seat is showing some wear and the rear seats are in need of some attention. The door cards and dash pad appear to be in good shape.
Overall this is a great, solid, original 3.0 SC Targa that would be an excellent investment.Due to longterm storage, it is recommend that the car be serviced before driven regularly.
