We present to you a super clean original 924.Sure it's an unloved model by most Porsche aficionados, but the tide is slowly changing as the prices of air cooled 911's increase and these water cooled cars receive more attention.
We obtained this car in November of last year. It was a one owner car bought new at Porsche/Audi of Sunnyvale with a maintenance book showing regular oil changes and services. Malaga Red paint looks to be original with no evident signs of past body work or repair. The interior is in excellent shape with seats and door panels showing very little wear but there is aslight crack on the dashboard. (See Photo).Too old to run a Carfax as a seventeen digit VIN is required.
We had the car checked out and only had to replace the catalytic converter for the car to pass CA emissions.
The service log shows some of the following that has been done:
Timing belt and all drive belts 113,442 milesAlternator replaced 113,597Replaced torque tube, clutch, rear trans bearing 106,483Replaced fuel pump 100,990Replaced CV joints 95,606
This really is a very nice original 924 with a removable sun roof, A/C, and a Blaupunkt CR-3003 AM/FM/cassette. the Audi sourced 2.0 four cylinder with 95HP. and a 4-speed transmission. This car runs and drives very well and is definitely an attention getterExtras include a box of new hoses, factory service manuals, owners manual, a nose bra, and a car cover. It would be a hit at the RennSport Reunion in September and could easily win a preservation class at the Porsche show this August in Monterey.Low Reserve
