1971 Porsche
I have for sale a 1971 Porsche 911 that was in an accident in 1980 and sat until 2012 when I purchased it. I was going to restore it but found another one that does not need restoration. I don't have the time to work on cars much any more so I thought I'd list it on Ebay. The car is very original and was never restored...original engine and transaxle; original wheels and hubcaps, decent interior; basically it's been sitting since the accident. Porsche Certificate of Authenticity (COA) shows that its a rare Gold Metallic exterior with a Black interior. It's very original but there are dents and rust, please see the photos. The rear torsion tube also seems to be damaged/rusty which is why the car is "low" in the rear. I was going to use the red donor car for the torsion tube - see the Red 911T I have advertised at Ebay as well - to fix the gold car but I think the parts are now available to restore them both. This has a clean title.Long time PCA member. I have other cars and I'm slimming down my collection. This would be a great project as the values of old 911s seem to be rising and this one has a great factory color combo and has never been messed with (except for the accident damage). Please let me know if you have questions. Thank you.
