Turbo charged black on black 1991 Porsche 928 GT 5 speed. One of a kind! Won't find another one out there for sale like this one.
Mechanical: Long list of things done over the years, it’s 100% running and drives great. 32V 5.0 GT motor (Factory GT cams) with single turbo, mid mounted, just ahead of rear trans-axle. Intake is up in rear fender away from the elements and cooler air. System designed by Mark Robinson. Never been on the dyno but guessing around 450-500HP. Limited to 7PSI at the moment but works great. Front mount intercooler. Can give more details on turbo set up upon request but overall great design, no issues. Fresh resealed and power coated top of motor (Cam covers, intake etc.) Custom stainless braided fuel lines, adjustable fuel pressure regulator. 928 Motorsports aluminum radiator, aluminum coolant reservoir, all brand new rubber hoses, high pressure cap to keep from boiling in the head. Rebuilt a/c compressor, all works as it should. Regular maintenance items all done in the last 3k miles, rotor, cap, timing belt, rollers, seals, etc. Porkin tensioner. No leaks. Fluids all changed regularly, engine, power steering, brake, and transaxle. Has Spec clutch to hold the extra torque. New drilled brake rotors and pads, fully adjustable suspension, polyurethane sway bar bushings.
Interior: New shift knob and boot, shift pattern lights up at night, has original sport seats. Custom JL audio sub box, (w7) with JL Audio 900W amp and proper crossovers and speakers. Kenwood head unit, pop out screen w/ GPS. Excellent clear sound. LED interior lights, LED fog lights, HID headlights with high & lows beams. Clear front side marker and front turn signals w/ LED’s. Carpet in good shape. Seats in good shape, driver’s seat is starting to show a little bit of wear but not torn. No cracks in the original dash. Everything works as it should. Wide band O2 and vac/boost gauge on the pillar. Rewriteable chips used though the shark tuner.
Body: In great shape, original paint, have a couple imperfections as it is a 1991 but overall I’d say 9 out of 10. Professionally 3M clear bra on the front, can’t notice it unless you’re looking for it. Porsche 968 side mirrors, rare 17” Porsche 996 wheels, continental contact DW tires less than 2K miles on them.
I'm sure I missed a few things but overall, car is in excellent shape, lots of love in this car. I would be very sad to see it go but would like to find someone else to enjoy it and love it as much as I have.
