This 1974 Porsche 914 2.0 was built in March 1974 and was sold new in California. The factory specifications included 2.0 Engine, 5-speed manual transmission, black and sunflower yellow paintwork, black leatherette interior, sealed beam headlights, tinted windshield and side glass, "Can-Am Limited Edition Package." The original owner sold it to the second owner in 1976 and it remained with him in the Central Valley of California until 2005. The car was garaged for all of this time and had... only accumulated around 60,000 original miles in the first thirty-one years of its life. In 2005 it was sold to a gentleman in Minnesota and later sold to a resident of Rhode Island. Around 2012 it received a very thorough restoration of all cosmetics. The body was painted the original black color and the yellow accents were too. The fanatical owner wasn't sure that the "Bumblebee" trim was to his liking so he had a complete set of rockers, trim and wheels made in standard black and silver respectively. They are safely wrapped and will accompany the car should the Can Am livery not suit the next owner. The sides are mirror flat, the top is nicely fitted and the interior was retrimmed with correct materials and remains in excellent condition
