1953 Porsche 356 Coupe Project, VIN 51590 - No Reserve!
Here we have a very rare car indeed. This is a 1953 bent windshield coupe delivered in stunning Pascha Red (paint code 523) with corduroy interior, confirmed via the kardex scan above. As you can see in the photos, this car will need a FULLrestorationin the fullest sense of the word. Some restoration work was started, please see photos, but there is lots more to be done. Some of the restoration work may be taste specific, with the bumper and rear taking cues from earlier Pre-As. The rust underneath is extensive, and much of the sheet metal has been removed for replacement. The car has no engine and while it does have a split case gearbox, it was sourced from a VW. The car does have Porsche drum brakes on all corners. Everything included with this car is pictured, pleasestudy the pictures carefully.
Values of Pre-A Porsches are in the stratosphere, with two examples hitting the million dollar mark last year. While this coupe needs mountains of work, it's almost impossible to spend too much money on its restoration. The car is being offered at no reserve so if you want it, bid and it's yours.
Clear title and ready for export.
