Exterior: This car was originally Irish Green. It has been repainted black many years ago. There are still signs of the original green peaking through here and there. The black paint is in decent shape, but it has been starting to be sanded down to prep for new paint. This car shows no signs of any collisions or accidents. It is a solid rust free car with the exception of the passenger front suspension area. I have taken many pictures of that area. The chrome, glass and gaps are all good on this car. The doors, hood, engine lid and front lid all open and close smoothly. This car has the original 1965 4 screw front horn grills.
Interior: This car has its original interior still intact. It has its original 3 gauges, dash, headliner, mirror etc. All of the gauges work. This car has been fitted with an aftermarket stereo. It still has its original headliner, rear seats and dash. The dash needs to be properly secured.
Engine/Transmission: This car comes with a factory Porsche replacement engine. It is a blank case engine with original Solex Carbs. This engine starts right up and makes nice power. It is a solid good running motor. This car has a new exhaust system. This car has the original numbers matching 5 speed 901 transmission that matched the COA. The serial number is 226327 and type 902/1. This is a nice driving car.
Overall: This is a very solid great example of an early 912. With the exception of the rust issue in the front area it would be great car to restore, turn into your own hot rod, or leave as a patina driver. I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
