Car description |

This 1983 Porsche 928S is a RARE European-market example. Even more rare being a sunroof delete model. LOW LOW 49K miles! It runs and drives great! I drive it daily and has been super reliable in Arizona heat and here in cold Oregon.
Itis powered by a EURO Spec 300 Horsepower 4.7-liter V8 paired to a 4-speed automatic transaxle andbenefits from $3,000 in maintenance performed in July 2017. Work included an A/C service along with a newtiming belt and water pump. The service included a timing belt change, new water pump, new fuel pump, voltage regulator, battery, and oil and filter change. An A/C service conducted at the same time included a new receiver, lines, and system flush. The car was also just inspected again last week and had an updated oil pressure sender installed per the old technical service bulletin, by a great German shop here locally. I also had the cluster updated with the 928SRUS new circuit board and LED lights so the gauges are bright at night and work well, which was nearly $1,000. Gets thumbs up daily!
The 928 Euro spec is quite a bit more fun to drive than the U.S. spec and more powerful. The car runs and drives very well! Driving it you would not know it was an older sports car. The suspension is tight, steering firm and tight, as well as the transmission shifts being quick and crisp. The motor revs very freely and has a nice rumble to it. A new stereo with remote, and new speakers were just installed as well and work as they should, along with power antenna.
