Car description |

Rare offering- A 49k original mile time-capsule 1977 911S Targa from the 2nd owner who owned the car since 1978 (only 1 year old!). Rare and beautiful Oak Green Metallic, code #265 (Ferry Porsche's favorite color). In fact in 1976 Ferry ordered his personal 76' 930 Turbo Carrera in this exact color, Oak Green metallic. The car is a spectacular garage-find that you just don't get offered privately anymore. It comes with all books and even the title is still the original Ohio title from 1978! When I received the car a few months ago it came 100% original paint. The only cosmetic issue I had was the original paint on the hood had flaked off. So I took it to a very good painter here and had them paint only the hood to match it perfectly to the original paint. Otherwise I just gave it a clean wash and vacuum. The car was starting to smoke back in the 80s and so the long-time owner decided not to drive it anymore. So there it sat all those years until I able to uncover it a few months ago. I never even attempted to start the engine. Everything on the car is original to the bone. Every single rubber on this car is original. Doors shut like a vault. Seals perfect. There are some minor scratches and dings from years of sitting in the garage. Always garaged it's entire life, therefore 0.0 rust to be found.
The owner (Mr. Martss) bought the car from the Conins Porsche in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1978. Mr. Martss just sold me the car a few months ago. Never changed ownership all those years. Since this is an original paint car, low mileage, complete with books and records, this is ideal for the avid collector. All books, manuals, receipts, and service stamps since new. 100% complete with original set of keys, unused spare, unused tooklit, unused jack, etc etc. Incredible opportunity that just doesn't get offered anymore. Most all midyear 911s (1974-1977) were all molested, neglected, or converted over the years to later updated 911s or race cars. This particular example is one that survived untouched which is hardly ever seen with these cars today. Rare opportunity.
