Pearl White. 40 where commissioned by Porsche for the Turbo Cup.

Very RARE 1986 Porsche 944 Turbo. Pearl White. One of only 26 known to exist. 40 of these cars were commissioned by Porsche for the Turbo Cup. All these cars were joint venture between Porsche Audi. And thus were painted the pearl white ( audi only color ). When these cars were finished. . Porsche ended up going with the later 87 models instead. So these cars are extremely rare in this color because you couldn't get the car in this color thru Porsche directly. It's rumored that the remaining 14 colored cars are in private Porsche engineer's collection. 2 owner car. Originally purchased in Nashville TN by a Vanderbilt University professor. Car is all original as from the factory. One year only deep lip rear Factory phone dials with color keyed center crests. Car has recently received a new clutch. clutch cylinder. water pum. timing belt. and new Bosch fuel pump. All other belts and hoses were also replaced. A/C works great. Non cracked dash. All books and manuals. Factory front bra and mirror covers. Storage bag for the removable top. Small dime sized chip on front drivers side bumper. Another eraser sized chip on passenger side front bumper. Someone tried to break into the car while it was in faculty parking. Small indentation on roof. And some fine what appears to be wire coat hanger scratches on the drivers door top and we're it meets the rear. The rear drivers side tire is mis matched. The security lock was cut off this wheel. No damage was done to the wheel or stud. The previous owner had lost the wheel lock key. The current tires all hold air and have plenty tread life left. Some side wall rot due to tires being nearly 8yrs old. of Love has always surrounded this car. Always garage kept. Clean clear open TN title. Car has been appraised for 16k.
