Car description

1987 Porsche 928 S4 - SILVER/BURGANDY - AUTOMATIC - NEW WATER PUMP/TIMING BELT/TIRES - LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL
I literally just purchased this 928 S4. I was looking for an S4 and really wanted an 5-speed but they are hard to find. I love this color combination and the owner had just installed a new water pump and timing belt which is something very important to do on these cars. He also just had the AC recharged so the air blows cold. I purchased the car; sent payment and arranged for a transport.
In that time I found a 1989 S4 5-speed; the owner had the car for 12 years and it was in amazing condition and at the same price point I purchased this car. I knew I would never have the opportunity again so I pulled the trigger and purchased the car. I am now selling this nice 1987 928 S4 as I would love to have (2) but doesn'tmake sense at this point.
This 928 has not been in an accident (see CARFAX) and appears to be wearing the original paint as I cannot find any paint over spray. The interior is in nice condition; leather is soft and drivers seat is not torn at the bolster; the passenger seat does have a seam that is split. The dash and pod have a cover that is a little warped and while I am sure it looks better than the cracked dash underneath, I would remove and redo the dash and pod. The carpet is good and back seat is in nice condition. The odometer stopped working at 133,998 and the owner said he feels he drove about 2,000 miles while he owned thus the 137,000 reported when work performed and listed on CARFAX.
I noticed when reviewing the receipt for the work recently completed (water pump, timing belt, pulleys and thermostat) that there were some notes from the repair shop. They stated the following:
Needs valve cover gaskets, rack and pinion leaking, oil pan gasket has a leak, front engine seal leaking, rear differential and rear axles leaks, transmission oil pan gasket leak, could use alignment.

Tires are Bridgestone g-Force Sport that were installed less than 1,000 miles ago.

Front - 225/50 16

Rear - 245/45 16

Sunroof opens and closes with no issue so do the power windows. It has a new Stereo and comes with the original owners manual. I have the Florida title from previous owner and I am selling for what I have into it. Contact me with any questions, you can come and drive the car if local or send an independentinspection company. I will work with your transport company.
