Car description

This is a NO reserve auction. Car will sell to the high bidder. Please only bid if youhave the cash in hand and are prepared to follow through with the sale.
This is a 1956A Porsche Speedster replica. It is painted in a rare Coral colorwith a beautiful tan interior. I purchased this car from Motoexotica, a very large and reputable Dealer in St. Louis. When I got the car, I almost immediately spent about $10,000.00 on a brand new, hand-built 1914cc motor. Please see the pics. The motor was built for this car by my mechanic. It is totally chromed out and has a brand new exhaust system all the way back to the chrome tips. Again, please see the pics. Dual carbs and dialed in perfectly. Electronic ignition so no unreliable points to deal with. Turn the key and the engine starts right up. Headlights, tail lights, signals, windshield wipers all work as they should. This cars runs amazingly well. It needs nothing whatsoever.
The interior is pretty flawless. The tan seats are super pretty and comfortable. The dash and the door panels match the seats. The convertible top is in excellent condition, as are the side curtain windows. The carpet is excellent. Under the bonnet is carpeted from front to back, and side to side. It is super tidy and clean. The previous owner must have had a big key chain because there is a spot that needs paint directly under the ignition where his/her keys must have chipped off the paint. It is really under the dash and not noticeable, but I want to disclose everything I can. The car is titled as a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle as it sits on a modified VW Beetle frame that was purchased specifically for this bid.
This car is super clean, very pretty, and it flies due to the new motor and lightweight body! Bidding particulars: If you have NO FEEDBACK, do not bid without messaging me first. As I said above, please doNOT bid unless you are prepared to pay for the car. I require a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit immediately following the auction. The balance is due within 48 hoursof the end of the auction by wire or cashier's check. Good luck!

To answer a question that I was just asked: The money I put into the car was not just on the engine. The engine was about $5,000. I also put in a new master cylinder and new disk brakes (front). Also, I had my mechanic add some frame strengthening for the power of the new motor. New fuel pump and nicer wiring to make the engine compartment "show quality".
