Car description |

For sale is my 1973 Porsche 914 2., It has its original fuel injected engine. (numbers matching). This car was Built in February 1973. It was originally delivered to Stein Motors Inc. in Wilmingto, Delaware.I found the car in Salin, Michigan where it had been garage kept and not moved since 1986. The car is a great survivor. The floor pans are rust free. No rust at all on the exterior body or doors. The Sepia Brown color was pretty common on 911's and 912's but very few 914's were painted this color. There are only a
couple cars on the 914 registry in this color let alone being a 1973 2.0.
If you seen the 1973 Sepia Brown 914 2.0 for sale a couple weeks ago here on Ebay you may think it was a twin to my car here now.Well it was built 1 car after mine. They came down the assembly line together. I talked to the owner of that car. He sold it off line to buyer before the listing ended.
My car runs and drives good. It has 4 brand new tires. Fresh oil chang, new fuel pum, new valve cover gasket, new push rod tube o-rings. Matching Fuchs spare whee, new weather strip, new fog lenses and bulbs. The car was repainted in 1985 and that is still on the car and looking pretty good. All of the interior is original. It is in great shape. There are a couple cracks in the dash but not bad. All of the lights - gauges - and accessories work. The battery tray is original and could be replaced. the Hell hole is pretty good. there is a little rust on the left side engine bay shelf . Overall this is one of the best unrestored cars you will likely find these days. With the way 914 prices have taken off you might want to get a good one now before its too late.
