Vin WP0AA0946HN451410 In the late 1970's, Porsche was looking to come into the mainstream car market by moving away from their rear engine roots, and embracing front engine car design. They brought out the entry level 924 and its more luxurious and expensive sibling the 928. The 924, with the addition of a larger engine and fender flairs became the 944 in 1982. The car was fast, offered excellent handling and a fair price. The 944 underwent continual refinements over the years until finally going out of production in 1991. It was Porsche's most successful line in Porsche's history until the introduction of the Boxter. The car on offer here is a 1987 Porsche 944S with only 22,441 miles. The low mileage is evident, as the condition of this car is amazing; it is a time capsule. The Slate Grey Metallic (LY7U) paint is excellent with good shine and depth. The Black interior is in near showroom condition; the seats shows almost no wear. All systems function as they should and the A/C has been converted to R134a.
