Car description

*****************************************************************************************************************Numbers Matching Original 2. 0 liter engine as verified by PORSCHE (w/ Certificate of Authenticity)COA (included with sale) also states original:POLO RED PAINTBLACK INTERIOR*****************************************************************************************************************This 911 features:5 Speed TransaxleWeber CarbsThe car was registered in California as recently as year 2000 on "series 63" black CA plates. then came to Colorado. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The car is stored in Colorado. -With two other 911s to play with. I have not given this car the attention it deserves. -Clean Wyoming Title in hand. -I recently installed an aftermarket fuel pump to draw fresh gas through the system. -I recently replaced old fuel line (not the metal line) with new fuel line. -The starter turns the engine over with the spark plugs removed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Prior owner had wheels polished and they were on the car for decades prior to Colorado move. I cannot find any manufacturer marks or castings on the wheels. The tires are Dunlops with near new tread. Air cleaners upgraded to K&N filters. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------An excellent example of an early long-nose 911 coupe. There are a few minor dings. Left rear bumper is dented. Door/panel operation and gaps are really good. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------All inspections by buyer or buyer's agent are welcome at buyers expense prior to auction close. You may contact Ron with questions @ 307. 920. 8405On Jan-19-15 at 11:20:01 PST. seller added the following information:UPDATE 19 JANUARY 12:09 MST++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Near as I can tell this car had 1 repaint (original color) but the jambs and inner panels are original. The previous owner stated "that was to freshen back to shiny" - I find no bondo anywhere. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I wrote a VERY conservative ad. in that I did not mention much about the condition of the body. THIS CAR IS A SURVIVOR IN THE BEST SENSE OF THE WORD. I DIDN'T USE THE TERM 'BARN-FIND' BECAUSE I THINK THE TERM IS "OVER-USED" (and I didn't want to sprinkle dust all over the car). THE CAR HAS 'NO RUST' - I KNOW. THAT IS A BOLD STATEMENT. IF I SAID MINIMAL RUST - YOU'D ASK 'WHERE IS THE MINIMAL RUST?"I WOULD HAVE TO SAY 'NOWHERE'. (OK - there is some surface discoloration on unpainted components but absolutely no rust-through. or perforation in floors. rockers. trunk. window frames. headlight buckets. etc. )There is some areas where undercoating has flaked off- which reveals solid floor behind. Years of PORSCHE and English Car ownership has me cringe at the term "RUST FREE" - we've always joked about that. for rust is never free!***********************************************************************************I had a very busy weekend answering the inquiries I've had on the car! There have been requests for detailed shots of the underside of the car. I cannot add photos to the listing - according to eBay. since I used all 24 picture spaces on the initial ad- I cannot change or ad photos. I am willing to send photos of the underside to show how good the car is. Any suggestions on how to get more photos up for everyone to see. please let me know. ***********************************************************************************Thanks for looking and bidding. Best Regards. on.
