Description

Thanks for checking out my auction.
You're bidding on a naturally aspirated 5-speed manual 1986 Porsche 944. Again, this IS NOT the Turbo version. With that said, it's your typical 31 year old 80's 944. If you know about this car, then you know what you're getting yourself into. It has the typical things wrong with it, like the center dash crack, sticky door handles, hood won't stay up, wonky radio, etc. The biggest problem right now is that the car won't go above around 2K RPM's. I've tried changing all sorts of sensors and such, but nothing has helped.
The car does have a newer clutch with less than 500 miles on it, a newer gas tank, some newer hoses, along with a second removable roof (the original one, as I changed it at some point to one that was in better shape). There is a slight dent on the rear near the lock, normal wear / tear on the paint all around for a 31 year old car, and some chips on hood(tried to illustrate this in the pictures). The interior is on the cleaner side for this type of car. The car has been parked for over a year, where I just start it from time to time. Because of this, the brakes are pretty rusted up and will probably need servicing. It will definitely need to be towed wherever you plan to take it.
Have a look at the pictures and the video below, which illustrates what happens when I give the car full throttle. It just hits 2K RPM's and then starts to drop.
