1984 Porsche 911 Carrera sunroof coupe # WP0AB091XES121690
This is a great running car that's had regular service and some upgrades while in the hands of the last 2 owners from 2004 (at 83000 miles), through today at 91300 miles.
2004-2014 apart from regular services the car received:
new oil lines to front cooler and return
engine bay sound insulation
engine bay shielding tins
front hood and engine cover hd shocks
speedometer rebuild
transmission rebuild - all synchros, dog ring, coupling, 5th gear, all seals
corner balanced and lowered
crankshaft sensor
2014-2017:
replace oil return tubes
replace heater control boxes & heater hoses, flapper valve, cables
replace reverse light switch
replace engine & gearbox mounts with Wevo semi solid mounts
install battery cutoff switch
replace steering wheel with 3-spoke replica early style
replace alternator
replace drive belt and a/c belt
replace alternator fan housing with upgrade aluminum housing

replace shifter bushings
R&I sunroof, install new seal
replace radio with modern bluetooth unit
replace intake manifold gaskets and injector seals
replace fuel pump
replace front to back battery positive cable
replace starter, flywheel sensor assembly, both flywheel sensors
replace plastic gas pedal assembly bushings with brass upgrade
$ 15,462.42 in invoices for this work, plus regular servicing
Install Kuehl rev4 Air Conditioning upgrade kit - $ 5,884.20
replace aftermarket 15" wheels with genuine Fuchs 16" and Kumho Ecsta tires - more $$
Money spent doesn't tell the whole story. This car has no rust, floor pans are some of the best I've seen, no scrapes or dents from grounding. Engine and gearbox cases are clean and dry with no leaks, streaksor wonky looking gaskets. Strong acceleration right to the top of the tach and smooth, positive shifting. Clutch, brakes, steering and all accessories operate and feel like they should. Sure I would do some things if I were keeping this for myself, and you probably will too. But you can also do nothing and drive as is with nothing to be upset about.
