Car description

Injury forces me to sell my 1972 911T 3. 6L Vario conversion before I am able to finish it. I was shooting for an R-Gruppe type vehicle. and I have all parts except the front fenders and seats to complete the project. The original 2. L mechanically injected engine (pump rebuilt and throttles bushed by previous owner) and the original 915 5 spd trans are part of this package. I am sure that there will be questions from any interested parties. but I will try to list all of the parts I have (i'm sure I will miss a few. and since I can only post 24 pictures. please request anything you would like to see and I will privately e-mail it to you. The vehicle came from Alabama in June of 1991 and was owned by a friend of mine. The engine would not idle correctly and had flat spots so he had the injection pump. and throttle bodies rebuilt in May of 1992 (I still have the paperwork). He then realized that the front pan had rusted from battery acid. and the lower control arm mounts were questionable. The vehicle sat in his garage until I convinced him to sell it in June of 2004. Since that time. I have been acquiring parts. selling parts I did not need. and I repaired the floor pan and stringers to ensure the vehicle was road worthy again. The body is extremely clean. with no rust in the common areas. no doubt to the fact it sat in a garage for the last 23 years. I have new carbon fiber purchased from TRG which include the hood. rear deck with duck tail. rear bumper and front bumper which is an RS-R model with removable center for an oil cooler. I also have the fog light conversion that is a popular thing for these type cars. and I am using 7x16 Fuchs so I could get a decent tire from a performance standpoint. The 993 3. 6L Vario-ram engine was purchased in Washington DC and was rebuilt using a 964 case. and had 9000 and change miles on it. I purchased a 3. 6L conversion kit from Instant G which included a complete Bosch Motronic system including Euro ECM with chip. conversion harness. engine harness (this system does not use O2 sensors and has no DLC so it does not set DTC's (trouble codes). fuel pump. fuel filter. AN fittings and braided stainless fuel lines. Flywheel (steel) complete clutch assy. oil lines to fit T model. air pump block off plate. crank pully. acc. cable. I also purchased a complete stainless steel header and exhaust system that also has heat capability from Instant G. The transmission is a 1977 magnesium case model with a 7:31 final drive and 3. 18 1st. 1. 83 2nd. 1. 26 3rd. 1. 00 4th. 0. 82 5th. It has new bearings and syncro's installed. The suspension uses Bilstein HD shocks front and rear. 21mm and 28mm torsion bars. new ball joints and hardware to install. new upper shock mounts. rubber bushings for complete front and rear suspension. "S" model front struts. aluminum front crossmember. turbo tie rods and boots. rear aluminum trailing arms with new wheel bearings. I have a complete RS style carpet kit which also eliminates the rear jump seats. and a full Rennline kit including foot boards. pedals. under dash. shift coupler cover. smuglers box cover. heater box cover. New gas tank. front and rear window weatherstrips and chrome trim. I would like to see the project completed as I believe with the original vehicle weight at 2021lbs. (with mods it will probally be around 1875lbs) it will be a rocket ship !!!!!! Thanks. Thanks.
