1978 Porsche 930 Turbo 911 3.3L 993 996 964

The ’78 was a year of several firsts. the first year for the larger. intercooled 3. 3L engine. first year for the larger. 917 inspired brakes. This car was also ordered as a sunroof delete. making it lighter and giving it a little more headroom. When was the last time you saw a Black on Black sunroof delete ’78? A very rare car here it is!!! It's getting really hard to find the early 930 Porsches as a lot of you know. 1979 is the last year of the 930 VIN# and from what I understand they only made 30 to 40 sunroof delete in 1978. How many still exist? I don't know. but what I do know is this particular one that you're looking at for sale at this point. I have been looking for one similar to mine for the last two years and I can't seem to find a black on black sunroof delete anywhere. I've spoken to several people in the last month and everybody told me that it's the only one in America. These people were really big Porsche collectors that seem to know a lot more than I do lol. Black on black sport seats sunroof delete. The car is pretty much all original and only has 75. 00 miles. In 1978. they only made 451 930 Porsches. This Porsche is #12 of 451 made in the US. 1978 was the lowest productive year for the 930 Intercooled Turbo. Car has 85% original paint. original interior. and nothing has ever been touched. The interior is exceptionally nice. the dash is in perfect condition. has no shrinkage of the leather anywhere. it has the original sport seats. and they also have never been touched. The headliner is in great condition. Overall. this is a really nice 930 Porsche. It does have the original 3. 3L engine as well as the original turbo and 4 speed manual transmission. This car is a true black car. no repaint. I do not have the original Fuchs Wheels. What you see is what you get. I am the second owner. This Porsche is very well taken care of. always kept in the garage. car has never been smoked in. and never driven in the rain. Car was sold in SoCal and remained there for a long time. Now it resigns in sunny Las Vegas. Nevada. The 930 is currently registered California title with California platesThe Porsche runs and drives great. You can drive it anywhere. I recently changed the oil. Car has the original jack. It is missing a few pieces of the tool kit and I do have the spare tire. Possible trade depending on what you have. The motor and transmission was completely rebuilt at around 55. 00 miles. The Porsche had a accident in the 80's. Front driver side fender was re-worked and repainted and done professionally due to the accident. The car does have a rebuilt title. I guess it wasn't worth that much in the 80s as much as it is now. No frame damage or anything like that! Everything works down to the cigarette lighter. The original radio was taken out and I don't have it. The previous owner took it out.
