One of the Canada's largest Porsche dealers where the car has recently been serviced by a Porsche Classic expert stated that they had “never seen a 964 in such amazing condition, both mechanically and aesthetically"!

Features& Performance

Porsche released the 964 Turbo 3.6 in January 1993 which featured a turbocharged version of the 3.6L M64 engine which produced an impressive 355 hp and 384 lb-ft of torque. The car was significantly faster than the standard 964 Turbo shaving nearly half a second off its 0 to 60 mph acceleration time (doing so in only 4 seconds!). During its limited run, 1,437 units were built worldwide with only 288 making it to the United States.

The car features a 6-speed manual transmission, power seats, power windows, an electric sunroof, supple leather seats, wheels caps with Porsche crests and much more.

Also included with this vehicle is the excellent Porsche Classic Radio Navigation System which significantly enhances the car’s usability and functionality, all while maintaining its classic appearance. This radio includes a high-resolution touch screen display, a navigation system, a SiriusXM radio receiver, iPhone/iPod integration and much more. It represents a perfect blend between modern convenience and unobtrusive, classic design.

Service & History

Following its completed production in June 1993, this particular Turbo 3.6 was delivered to its original owner on August 2nd 1993 in Hinsdale, Illinois where it spent nearly 4 years. It was then sold to a gentleman in Florida in May 1997 where it resided for the following 2 years. In June 1999, the vehicle was acquired in Michigan and 12 years later it was sold to Ohio where it was owned until 2015.

This is an extremely well-documented vehicle that has been properly maintained and cared for over the years. Its most recent owner has compiled two large binders filled with essential information including the original bill of sale, ownership history, service history with records, relevant media publications and more (see embedded video for more information).

A major service ($23,000) was completed at a Porsche dealership in June 2016 which also included an engine reseal, an engine compression test, a cylinder leak test and a thorough inspection of the entire vehicle. The car is in phenomenal condition both mechanically and aesthetically and requires no additional maintenance.

The car’s paint is in excellent condition and is 99% original with repaints on the rear engine cover and rear bumper only. The rear bumper required a repaint due to a mistake caused by a Porsche dealership during a service, a full explanation of why and how this bumper repaint occurred can be found in our photo gallery.

This is a US-spec car with an impeccable CarFax report and no accidents. It comes with all owner’s manuals, maintenance booklet, 2 master keys, toolkit, the original radio, many service records and other documentation pertaining to the history of the vehicle, etc.
