We are offering this Porsche for one of our customers. We have a vintage European sports car shop in Maryland, where the car is located. This is a four owner car that has been well cared for its entire life. The original maintenance record book will be included with its sale, showing the original purchase on December 30, 1968 from Brunos Porsche in Jacksonville, Florida. The front page shows the original engine number as being 4093883. The book also shows service through 1985 at 75, 770 miles.

Although we have limited receipts, the car was repainted. Some receipts indicate that this may have been done in the early 90s.

No detailed records exist until 1995, when the current owner purchased the car. The carburetors and exhaust were replaced in 1997. It now sports Weber carbs. The engine was rebuilt in June of 1999 at 104,000 miles. This work was carried out by Fehlman Bros. of Syracuse, NY. The clutch was replaced in November of 2009 at 116,000 miles. It received a new windshield in November 2014.

The car comes complete with original owners manual, original maintenance booklet, and tool kit. It also comes with a set of unused wheel covers bought new by one of the former owners, as well as a car cover, a bra, and a set of workshop manuals. The car also has a clever anti theft system.

Although not perfect, this car is in very good to excellent shape. Always garaged, rust and corrosion are nearly non-existent. There is only very minor surface rust on the undercarriage (see photos), as the car was driven regularly for some time.

If you are seriously looking for a late 60s Porsche to drive and enjoy, this car is definitely worth your consideration.
